Safety Equipment Quotation FAQ Ireland

Safety Equipment Ireland uses a quotation-led model so customers receive pricing based on products, quantities, availability, delivery and suitability for the requirement.

Use this page to understand what to include when sending a quote request and how to make the enquiry easier for the sales team to review.

How safety equipment quotations work

Prices are not displayed online because many products depend on quantity, accessories, availability, delivery location and the customer requirement.

A useful enquiry includes product names, SKUs where known, quantities, delivery location, organisation details and the intended use.

Quotation request FAQs

Why are prices not shown online?

The site is quotation-led so pricing can reflect the products, quantities, delivery location and customer requirement.

What should I include in a quotation request?

Include product names or links, SKUs where known, quantities, delivery address, organisation details and the intended use.

Can I request several products in one enquiry?

Yes. List all products and quantities so the team can review the complete requirement and prepare a suitable quotation.

Choosing the right safety equipment

How do I choose an evacuation chair?

Start with the building and the people who will use it. Consider the number of floors, the stair layout, where the chair will be stored and who will operate it during an evacuation. The evacuation chair buying guide walks through these points, and the evacuation chairs range shows the models available for quotation.

What evacuation equipment does a nursing home need?

The right mix depends on the building layout and the mobility of residents. Most nursing homes combine evacuation chairs for stairs with evacuation mats and sheets for residents who cannot transfer to a chair, matched to each resident's personal emergency evacuation plan (PEEP). Regulation 28 of S.I. No. 415 of 2013 requires registered providers to make adequate arrangements for evacuating all persons in the centre. In plain terms, the home must be able to move every resident to safety, including those who cannot walk. See nursing home safety equipment for the typical equipment mix.

How do I choose a defibrillator for my workplace?

Think about where the AED will be located, who is likely to use it and whether it needs an indoor or outdoor cabinet. The defibrillator and AED buying guide covers the main decision points, and the defibrillators range lists the AEDs and accessories available for quotation.

How do I know which AED pads and batteries to order?

Pads and batteries must match the make and model of your defibrillator, and both carry expiry dates that should be checked regularly. Send the AED make and model with your enquiry and the team will confirm the correct consumables. The AED pads and batteries replacement guide explains what to check before ordering.

Which training manikin should I buy?

Match the manikin to the exercise you are running, such as fire and rescue drags, water rescue, casualty handling or bariatric scenarios. The training manikin buying guide compares the options, and the training manikins range includes the Ruth Lee models.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. Safety Equipment Ireland supplies organisations across Ireland from its Longford base. Delivery arrangements and timescales are confirmed as part of your quotation, so include the delivery address in your enquiry.

Can you train our staff to use the equipment?

Yes. Safety Equipment Ireland is owned and operated by Phoenix STS, the fire safety and health and safety consultancy and training provider. Courses include evacuation chair operator training and AED training, so staff can be trained on the same equipment your organisation buys.

Do you supply hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare providers?

Yes. Healthcare is a core part of the catalogue, from evacuation and patient transfer equipment to resuscitation supplies. See healthcare evacuation equipment and hospital safety equipment for the ranges most healthcare buyers request.
