What evacuation equipment does a nursing home need?
The right mix depends on the building layout and the mobility of residents. Most nursing homes combine evacuation chairs for stairs with evacuation mats and sheets for residents who cannot transfer to a chair, matched to each resident's personal emergency evacuation plan (PEEP).
