The Versa Elite sits at the top of the Exitmaster range. It keeps everything that makes the Versa work, the upright four wheel format, single operator loading and travel, and the corridor mobility handles added on the Versa Plus, and then adds an armrest and a four point harness for passengers who need more support and reassurance on the way down.
That extra security makes the Elite particularly well suited to healthcare and residential settings, nursing homes, hospitals and day services, where the passenger may be frail, anxious or unable to hold a stable seated position. The patented Stoop-free and Free-walk design keeps the operator upright and in control on the stairs, with a large footrest and a top step safety feature. The chair stores flat on its wall bracket, and the design is protected by European and international patents and registered designs.
