Versa Plus Evacuation Chair

The Versa Plus is manufactured by Exitmaster and distributed in Ireland by Phoenix STS (Safety Equipment Ireland), the fire safety and health and safety consultancy and training provider.

The Versa Plus takes the flagship Versa and adds mobility handles, which make it noticeably easier for the operator to push and steer the chair along corridors before reaching the stairs. It is a single operator, upright, four wheel evacuation chair for bringing a person with impaired mobility down stairs in an emergency.

That corridor performance makes the Versa Plus a strong choice for larger buildings such as hospitals, nursing homes, hotels and multi storey offices, where the route from a bedroom or office to the stair core can be a long one. Like every chair in the Versa family it uses the patented Stoop-free and Free-walk design, so the operator walks upright with full control, with a large footrest for passenger comfort and a top step safety feature at the head of the flight. It stores on a wall mounting bracket, ready to deploy in seconds.
