The fully automatic ZOLL AED 3 analyses the heart rhythm and, when a shock is needed, warns everyone to stand clear and delivers it without anyone pressing a button. Real CPR Help technology gives real-time feedback on compression rate and depth through a colour bar gauge on the touchscreen, and RapidShock analysis allows a shock in as little as five seconds. A single set of CPR Uni-padz universal electrodes treats both adults and children using child mode, and the smart battery and pads each last five years. Optional Wi-Fi connectivity with PlusTrac programme management software reports the unit's readiness automatically.
