Duty Range Manikin

The Duty Range Manikin is a rugged, full-body training dummy designed for high-intensity rescue, handling, and tactical training. Built to simulate realistic weight and movement, it’s ideal for fire services, military, law enforcement, and industrial emergency response.

The Duty Range Manikin is a durable, life-sized training manikin engineered for demanding, full-contact rescue and tactical training environments. Designed for repeated use in outdoor and indoor settings, it provides a safe and realistic stand-in for unconscious casualties in fire, rescue, military, and industrial drills.

With human-like weight distribution and flexible joint articulation, the manikin can be dragged, carried, hoisted, or positioned in confined spaces, vehicles, or on stretchers. It is constructed from tough, abrasion-resistant materials to withstand extreme conditions such as rough terrain, high heat (non-live fire), water exposure, and heavy use.

Ideal for a wide range of realistic training applications, the Duty Range Manikin enhances skills in casualty evacuation, tactical operations, confined space rescue, and emergency response—all while ensuring safety and consistency in training exercises.

Key Features:

  • Realistic Human Form: Simulates an unconscious adult with natural articulation and weight balance.

  • Heavy-Duty Construction: Built to withstand dragging, carrying, and high-impact use across varied terrain.

  • Weather-Resistant Materials: Suitable for indoor and outdoor training in all weather conditions.

  • Multiple Sizes & Weights: Available in a variety of body types to match training requirements.

Product Details

Available in various sizes and weights, from the 5kg Baby to the 90kg adult. We also offer shorter adult manikins, which some customers often prefer. These are provided at 1.7 metres, 30 kg, 50 kg, and 70 kg. Alternatively, some shorter manikins are purchased when the trainer wants a manikin that is more representative of a female casualty. It’s important to note that the manikins are designed for specific training scenarios. While they can withstand temperatures up to 100°C, we recommend the Fire House training manikin for temperatures above this or where ‘flash-over’ may occur. Similarly, the Duty model, with its normal weighting, is not suitable for deep-water rescue scenarios. We recommend the Water Rescue dummy, designed to float appropriately for such situations.
