Bariatric Conversion Suit

The Bariatric Conversion Suit is a specialized training aid designed to simulate the size, shape, and mobility challenges of a bariatric (obese) individual. This wearable suit is used in medical, rescue, and care training environments to help responders and caregivers develop the skills and awareness needed for safely assisting bariatric patients.

The suit can be worn over standard clothing or on a manikin to replicate increased body mass, altered body shape, and restricted movement. It is ideal for teaching patient handling, transport techniques, and emergency extraction procedures in realistic conditions.

• Realistic Body Mass Simulation: Adds significant bulk and weight to mimic a patient weighing up to 350–400+ lbs (160–180+ kg), depending on suit configuration.

The Suit weighs approximately 5kg when empty and around 7 kg when placed in the bag for transportation with the adapters. Once filled, these manikins are designed to be carried by a team of at least 4-6 people.
