The ZOLL AED Plus is a rugged automated external defibrillator built for workplaces and public buildings. Real CPR Help technology measures every chest compression and tells the rescuer to push harder or confirms good compressions, so even a first-time responder can deliver effective CPR. The semi-automatic version analyses the heart rhythm and prompts the rescuer to press the shock button when a shock is advised. It uses one-piece CPR-D-padz electrodes and ten off-the-shelf type 123A lithium batteries, each with a five-year life, and carries an IP55 rating against dust and water. Pedi-padz II paediatric electrodes are available separately for children up to eight years old or under 25 kg.
