The Evac E-Pad is manufactured by Spectrum Healthcare and distributed in Ireland by Phoenix STS (Safety Equipment Ireland).

The Evac-E-Pad is a low cost evacuation slip mat designed for the movement of individuals to a safe area in an emergency. Well suited to use in confined spaces such as congested hospital wards and buildings with narrow corridors and staircases or where safe removal by other means is not suitable.
In an emergency the Evac-E-Pad is quickly and easily removed from its wall mounted bag. The individual is then transferred onto the Evac-E-Pad, secured using the safety cross straps and moved to a safe area.
The Pad features a low friction durable vinyl base which helps it to move over most interior and exterior surfaces and a nylon top. It has a foot pocket at one end, two pulling handles and two webbing cross straps with plastic safety buckles.
All persons responsible for using this equipment must receive the correct training by a competent person, who has undergone an approved “train-the-trainer” course.
