ZOLL AED Plus Fully-Automatic
The ZOLL AED Plus Fully-Automatic is manufactured by ZOLL Medical and distributed in Ireland by Phoenix STS (Safety Equipment Ireland).
The fully automatic AED Plus carries out the most stressful step of a rescue itself: once it detects a shockable rhythm and confirms the patient is clear, it warns bystanders and delivers the shock with no button to press. Real CPR Help technology measures compression rate and depth, telling the rescuer to push harder or confirming good compressions. It uses one-piece CPR-D-padz electrodes and off-the-shelf type 123A lithium batteries, each with a five-year life, and carries an IP55 rating against dust and water. Pedi-padz II paediatric electrodes are available separately for children up to eight years old or under 25 kg.

The ZOLL AED Plus Fully-Automatic is a high-performance automated external defibrillator designed to guide users through every step of a rescue. Unlike semi-automatic models, it delivers a life-saving shock on its own - no need to press a button - after assessing the heart rhythm and ensuring the patient is clear. Equipped with Real CPR Help® , it provides real-time feedback on chest compression rate and depth, helping rescuers perform high-quality CPR. Visual and audio cues such as "Push Harder" or "Good Compressions" ensure optimal performance during resuscitation. Built for durability, the AED features an IP55 rating for protection against dust and water, making it suitable for use in demanding environments. It uses consumer-replaceable lithium batteries and one-piece CPR-D-padz electrodes, both with an extended 5-year shelf life, minimising maintenance. For paediatric emergencies, the device supports Pedi-padz® II, designed for children under 8 years old or under 25 kg. The AED also performs regular self-tests to ensure readiness, with a clear visual indicator confirming device status. Key Features: Fully-automatic shock delivery - no manual action required Real CPR Help® for real-time CPR feedback and coaching Rugged design with IP55 rating for challenging conditions Long-lasting pads and batteries (up to 5 years) Paediatric capability with optional paediatric pads Self-testing with easy-to-read readiness indicator Comes with a soft carry case and rescue kit
