People often need rescuing because they have suffered a traumatic injury and cannot self-rescue. Teams are under increasing pressure to have the skills for effective emergency first aid at scene.

The Trauma Rescue Manikin lets you train for difficult rescues and extrication while providing first aid for traumatic injuries including heavy bleeding.

Several options are available depending on your requirements. All models include an airway management torso and a traumatic open wound on the thigh. The 30kg model can be upgraded to include IV and IO capabilities.

The traumatic open wound helps train correct application of a tourniquet or wound packing. The trainer controls the blood flow through the wound and can stop it when the trainee has treated the patient correctly.

The body is constructed from tough flame-retardant polyester with high-density webbing reinforcements at stress points. The torso is supplied by Simulaids and does contain latex. The wound-packing task trainer on the thigh is made from silicone for a realistic texture and appearance.

Rescue and traumatic injury skills training using one manikin, on location and during extrication. Airway management torso - traumatic injuries often result in respiratory distress, so you can train for airway skills and traumatic first aid with one tool. The thigh wound packing module is washable and reusable, with bleeding tubes that simulate a major haemorrhage.

Based on the Full Body Airway Management manikin, the Trauma Rescue model is tough and built for rescue training. Two further options are available for the 30kg version.

The optional IV Practice Arm has an intramuscular injection site at the top of the arm and allows venipuncture to the arm and hand. The Intraosseous Tibia Task Trainer simulates IO needle placement with palpable landmarks at the proximal tibia for accurate site location.

Full airway management torso for CPR with anatomical landmarks including the sternum, rib cage and substernal notch. Contains teeth, uvula, vocal cords, glottis, epiglottis, larynx, arytenoid cartilage, trachea, oesophagus and inflatable lungs and stomach. Accepts nasogastric tube placement and Combitube, E.O.A., E.G.T.A., P.T.L. and i-gel airways.

Thigh wound packing/tourniquet trainer with blood pump. The Intraosseous Tibia Task Trainer (Simbodies) simulates IO needle placement with palpable landmarks at the proximal tibia. The internal 3D-printed bone provides realistic resistance as the needle enters the bone marrow cavity. Produced from Skin Safe Prosthetic Grade Platinum Silicone with a flexible, skin-like appearance. Reusable 80-100 times. Attaches to the leg with velcro and is a replaceable part.

The IV practice arm includes an intramuscular injection site and venipuncture capabilities in the arm and hand, with lifelike vein roll-over, durability for repeated use and palpable veins.
